About Crossroads Academy
Crossroads Academy in Decorah is Clinicare’s first Alternative School in Iowa. Educational services began at this location during the 2003-2004 school year for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

Our Philosophy
It is the philosophy of the Clinicare that all youth are deserving of trauma-informed, therapeutic treatment and education; and that all youth are unique with individual treatment needs. Clinicare staff will guide youth through an individualized, comprehensive program that is based off treatment goals which are made to fit the unique needs of each youth.
Clinicare believes that taking part in recreational activities, particularly outdoors, can improve your physical wellness. Participating in leisure and recreation activities can help you better manage stress and reduce depression. These staff led activities include intramural sports; movies; off-campus outings such as bowling, roller skating, biking, picnics; arts and crafts; as well as other seasonal recreation activities.
